Israel is a delightful holiday destinationFor young people the beaches life Tel Aviv and Eilat are wonderfull, as well as nighth-life is great!!! Think about a desert trek of several days in which we climb wadi's and waterfalls and tell stories at night by the campfire........... a great expierience. Mountain bike tours through the beautiful countryside of Israel as well as jeep tours are also possiblities........

For those who love to hike, I offer extensive walking opportunities incluisive a range of Israel's cultural and historical sites.
Of course it is also very interesting to learn and expierience the different groups in the Israeli societyJews - Sephardic and Oriental Jews, Askenazi, Orthodox and Hasidic JewsArab Muslims - Souni, Sufi and Achmadim; Syrian and Coptic Christians and of course all Christian churches and communities such as the Ethiopian church and all the various Protestant churches represented in Israel as well as the Armenian community in their own Armenian church; the Druze, the Circasiers, and of course the Bedouin.

Last but not least, Israel also is the Holy Land for Jews, Christians and Muslims. Expierience the Promised Land for Jews in cities such as Tiberias and Zefat; feel history alive in Jerusalem at the Western Wall and wading through the 500 meters long water tunnel under the city of David to the pool of Siluach. Walking through the various Orthodox neighborhoods will take you back in time.

The Temple Mount, Masada, Herodion and Cecarea ara examples of archaeological sites from the period of Herod the Great, who ruled from 37 to 4 BC. According to the New Testament, Jesus was born around this time in Bethlehem, today a part of the Palestinian Authority, and grew up in Nazareth. Places like Nazareth, Kfar Kana, as well as around the See of Galilee on the Mount of Beatitudes and Capernaum are unforgettable. Beautifull spots on the Golan Heigths, such as Cecarea Phillipi, and the Jordan Valley are wonderful. And of course Jerusalem in particularly is very impressive!!!

Spring turns Israel into a green landscape with hundreds of wild flower including the well-known crocus and hyacinth. The months Febrary, March, April,May and June are great to be in Israel. The summer months are hot: the average of thirty degrees Celcius with a humidity level in the coastal area of approximately 80%. In these months the temperature rises to approximately 39 degrees in the desert and around Eilat 43 degrees. In the months September, October and November the weather is very pleasant in Israel. In winter time it can be nice weather by day and quite cold at night, varied by rainy periods, and with a bit of little luck snow in Jerusalem.... and skiing possibilities on Mount Hermon.
